Welcome to the UNH College of Professional Studies!
If you're starting or returning to college, it's important to stay organized. Here's a checklist to help you get started!
Talk to an Advisor
Advisors guide students through the application process. They can answer questions about degree program options, connect you with the director of your chosen program, and help you with financial aid. Contact us to set up an appointment in person or virtually.
Prepare Your Application Materials
When completing your admissions application, you'll be asked to submit a current resume, two professional or academic references, and a 500-1,000 word personal statement. Plan ahead by updating your resume and confirming the contact details for your references so you're ready to enter this information within the application. You'll also want to craft your personal statement, which should describe professional goals, aspirations, motivation for applying for the degree, and relevant formal or informal experiences. The statement is evaluated on the applicant’s writing and its content alignment with the program’s purpose and outcomes.
Apply Online for Free
Complete the admissions application online with no application fee. If you have questions, an advisor will be able to help you navigate step-by-step through the application.
Request Your Transcripts
Make arrangements with the institution that granted your bachelor’s degree to send your transcripts to UNH College of Professional Studies. If you earned college credit from additional institutions, please reach out to them, too. You must have a conferred bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA.
Apply for Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available to help make college costs more affordable. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and use the UNH CPS code 002589. If you have questions, our expert financial aid team will be able to help you navigate step-by-step through the FAFSA.
Make Your Tuition Payment
Tuition payment or documented payment arrangements (including financial aid) are due approximately 1.5 weeks prior to the start of the term. Accepted students can pay online after creating their WebCat account. We accept check, credit card, and money order payments.
