Maximize Your Military Benefits with Our Seamless Process
You’ll have a dedicated point of contact to help you maximize your military benefits. Our caring and knowledgeable advisors will make benefit selection an easy and seamless process. All of our degree programs are approved for VA education benefit programs, including the Post 9/11 GI Bill®. In addition, we participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Military Student and Spouse Discounts
We cap our undergraduate tuition to match the DoD Tuition Assistance (TA) Program benefit. Graduate students receive a 15% discount on their cost per credit.

Credit for Your Training
UNH awards the maximum credit for your military training based on recommendations from the American Council on Education (ACE). We also offer other options for demonstrating college-level learning, such as workplace training and equivalency tests (DANTES, CLEP). Airmen are guaranteed at least 64 credits to transfer from CCAF.
- Post-9/11 GI Bill Yellow Ribbon Program
We participate in the Post-9/11 GI Bill® Yellow Ribbon Program. If your tuition and fees as a nonresident student exceed the benefit provided under the Post-9/11 GI Bill®, we can make additional funds available for your education without an additional charge to your GI Bill® entitlement.
- Tuition Savings for Spouses
Eligible for spouses of Active Duty, National Guard, and Reservist servicemembers admitted to an undergraduate or graduate program are eligible for a 15% tuition discount. - Open Admission - Start When You're Ready
We offer open admission, which means no standardized tests, essays, or GPAs considered. Our application is free and takes about 15 minutes to complete. We have five opportunities each year for you to start your coursework. Undergraduate students register for six credits within a 16-week semester to be considered half-time. Twelve credits within a 16-week semester will be considered full-time. When you fill out the inquiry form, an advisor will follow up with information about how UNH College of Professional Studies can support you as you complete your degree.
